Hi all,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a basic amp with a small footprint? Ideally looking for something about the size of a Denon PMA-60, but without all the bells and whistles (and hopefully cost). Only needs to have a single stereo analogue input and should do about 50w output into 8 ohms. Tone control would be nice but not essential.

Cheers,

Andy

I got an amptastic mini 1,
absolutely love it! hands down my favourite amp i've ever owned, the noisefloor is absolutely silent and it just brings music to life, even at very low volumes, and I've had no issues running 87db speakers to neighbour bothering volumes.

If you don't mind a bit of DIY, the amp boards from sure electronics are mainly pretty decent, personally i skip the usual meanwell power supplies and use high power laptop psu's with them and have great results, not quite got the "magic" of the amptastic though.
