Evening All,

I have a peugeot 306 with a large 2.5" exhaust on. It is a 2l diesel so it is a very low revving car. It has a huge amount of low frequency volume and I really want to reduce as much as possible along with reducing road noise.

Does anyone have any suggestions what deadener / sound damping I should buy? I am looking at Dynamat an Silentcoat at the moment but they seem rather pricey. Other brands like Dodo seem a bit cheaper.

Does anyone have any info or tips to share?

Thanks :D

Damping mat ringing parts on floor by tapping them. Boot floor is usually a massive culprit and wheel wells the tunnel the exhaust runs along too from the inside. then over the whole floor with closed cell foam then mass loaded vinyl this will be the most effective way. As long as you don't mind the extra weight. bear in mind thickness under the carpets too.

dodo is good from what I've heard
