They have arrived. Wooohooo.
Nice work as always and very well packed.
Here's the relevant bit of the manual.

So Bri it's essentially 4 high level in and 3 out for a fully active 3 way system with 31 band independant eq and a host of xover points/slopes?

If so I am sure there must be a way to use it to make a 4 way active sytem!

truth be told I'am eagerly hoping to find out:

1) is the 50w output peak or rms which is massive differences?

2) is it cyrstal clear/clean or does it have any minor/major noise floor at all?

3) does it have any heating issues

4) does it have any other issues not mentioned/asked?

for the price this is simply GOLD but the saying if its too good to be true it probably isnt comes to mind ..

This weather is taking the urine too much as I need to strip the audio down to get this lashed in so I can have a play.
All my work will be on the driveway so too bloody cold and I'm fed up with it.
Managed to get the bits needed for next week's MOT test while it was at a barmy 7.5°C and that's it.
Weather man says it could be arctic for the next 2 weeks. Lager will have to fill the audio gap.

Bri, any update on using this?

i want to test mine out on a car battery rig but have no spare source. It says you can connect via Bluetooth but points at a picture of the socket on the case. If you have powered it up can you find it as a BT device?

i put the software on my phone too looks like the full control suite with presets. I'll take some screen shots and post now...

With the time alignment you can enter numbers or just drag the sweet spot around the car.

The EQ you scroll across the 31 bands and adjust each with the slider.

the cross over shows all the info and you selec and adjust each parameter.

Have you seen the weather outside.
That's why there has been no updates.
The bluetooth it via the rj45 connector.
To work easily it would need a rj45 to usb converter and a bluetooth dongle I guess.

that interface is pretty darn nice!
I'm currently arguing with my dsp software so I'm quite jealous

as long as it has a decent noise floor, I think you might be on to an absolute winner here.

Fashioned a plug for the unit using electronic project connectors. Just need something to fit around them so they are snug. Currently thinking surgu or maybe even just an elastic band!

Next up I need to label the cable ends and I'm good to go with the install :-)

Thanks Bri.

Im struggling to work out how to set the DSP up. I want to run an active front from my oem head unit, but I also need to keep the rears connected to the hu for the parking sensors.

So I need to run 4 channels in the DSP for the fronts, but I've only got one set of high level inputs. Can/do I split the signal from the front to 4 of the DSP inputs?

Why not just use rear out for mid bass and fronts for tweeters.

That way you’ll get the reversing notes through the mids only which should be audible, yet won’t interfere with normal listening.

Assuming the factory head unit gives full range un processed or volume dependant eq on all channels.

I think he is stating his OEM HU has 4 hi level outs to connect to the DSP but 2 of those 4 HU outputs are busy and cannot be used leaving him 2 head unit outputs to utilize for 4 inputs on the DSP.

Thanks Bri.

some of the DSP's out there have capability of summing  from 2 input to 4 output wonder is this unit does too.

if not I too would go your route and simply split the 2 fronts into 4 outs but keep in mind sensitivity, voltage might drop to the point where it becomes an issue for the dsp

Yes, this. I'd rather leave the rears alone if I can. I can't see anything on the phone app for bridging the inputs or whatever the term ibut maybe the PC software offers more options I haven't installed that yet.

If I get some play time this weekend I will lash the dsp+ a pair of hifi speakers with an old PG amp with a Genny P2 I just had serviced running a JBL gto1004 sub bridged with a Alpine cda9831 doing the honours all running off a gel batt.

Lashed it all up at Mums with the above equipment yesterday and oh dear.
Sound only coming from one channel and no sub.
Stripped it all down and went home deflated.
Got all the stuff out again and went through it all with a fine tooth comb and voila the amp driving the fronts had mysteriously gone on one channel and the sub wire had come off the speaker in the box. Hurray sounds and compliance with the pc giving me all the adjustments.
There is a turn on thump though that might be avoided with the right turn on delays but hey it works and sounds great.
Just another 18 years and it might make it into the car!
Oh p.s thanks again to Gordon the Amp Doctor for making it all happen.

Brilliant, I can't wait to install it all.

How is the PC software? Don't suppose you've seen an active mode in there?
