You actually own those??? :wow:

When does the museum open? :win:

yes of all the amps i own these are two of the ones id most like to actually install and hear properly insteed of listening to them on a test rig
i also have plans to actually mount all this lot on the walls of one of my work rooms so its literally staring at you whenever you walk in

i use the phase linear amps in my own car as the mid and high end detail from them is stunning but also very very smooth
believe it or not the little 0.4kw amplifier is one of my all time favourites

i have multiples of a lot of the amplifiers and am allways open to swapping them for differant ones so if theres anything anyone really likes then feel free to p.m me

agreed, of all the amps I've owned/heard the little 0.4kw is one of the best midrange amps I've heard, very open and natural. just goes to show you don't need a ton of power to enjoy an amp! always like the ref300 too, ticks all the boxes (if you can find a working one that is :raz: )

my latest addiction is RF (silver/gold and black and grind style), got 8 now and 3 link :win:

I was going to make a joke about you not needing wallpaper :raz:

And you and Marko shut up about the Phase Linear's already. I'm sticking with my Helix's and hoiping I will actually fit them this year... Don't make me lust after other amps delaying my system even more... :P

Personal question: are you married? The wife lets me tinker with caraudio a little, but I e.g. couldn't persuade her that I really needed the US AMPS 6000 (that 6000Wrms class AB amp) :raz: So a list of amps as long as yours would defo result in me getting a place of my own... unvoluntarily... :wow:

Yes
Married with a very understanding wife and a little girl who is allways eager to help daddy moving things around upstairs in the loft

I have plans for more unusual amplifiers when I get chance but I've tried to pick up things which a lot of people would overlook
But everything I have upto now has surprised me in some way shape or form

I have a couple of those, but the Aliante's are a bit heavy for them :)

Now you're just williwaving... :raz: (I have a mere 4 of them... all 12, an PE SI, an LTD Mk I and two originals)

This below amp is over 20 years old. I hope I didn't post it in here before. It's crap, but still adding it cause it is old. Supposedly 4x75Wrms, not 2 ohm stable, separate bridging button, brand is "Sams" and I recently found one on Ebay under the name of Monacore HPB-400 but then it suddenly does 4x100Wrms.
The seller tries to get 50euro's for it. It's worth 10 in aluminium (bloody heavy) and minus 5 for the electronics :raz:

those Human Reign amps are awesome. Very rare though..

The new ones have the same insides just modernised but not as pretty. But still awesome. I have had one from Soundstream for a few months on a test and they are sweet... I may be buying a few later this year :)

Edit: maybe saying what they are might help :raz: MB Quart 290 and 310 (passive).
Couldn't resist. love old 'crap'.

Problem is the wife didn't know they were WHITE... so she has an issue with them I believe... :raz:
Sub is bloody heavy. Wired it up in the car when driving home from the seller and as expected it dropped nicely. Unfortunately my son was in there with me so I didn't turn it up (and they were not 8 ohm as expected, but 4 ohm, so a final load was 2 ohm on my bridged amplifier (Helix HXA400 Mk1) who probably doesn't like that too much).
Specs: 90Wrms 40-20kHz for the 'satellites' (10x12x15", most modern kit-subs are smaller :raz:)
2x150W for the sub+satellites (25-20kHz, crossover at 100Hz according to the salesbrochure from 1989 and 1990 that came with it).
All closed enclosures, probably 8" mid, 1.5" tweeter and DVC 12" sub.

So mine are white, these pics are from the net (and mine doesn't have mold...)
All rubber surrounds so shouldn't need the 'every_15_year_replacement_of_surrounds' that my Pioneers need...

1x PG MS2125
2x EQ230
1x PG Bass cube

Rockford Fosgate
1x RF Power 300

Soundstream
2x Tarrantula 880/2
1x Tarrantula 500/4

Not that old but also have:
2x Tarrantula 2.320
1x Tarrantula 2000w
2x Soundstream R1 12" Reference
2x Soundstream 12" Tarrantula Subs
1x VIR-8310NRBT 8.3" screen from a single din size. Awesome headunit

So my plan this year to cut back on my kit has backfired as I bought 2 more PG elite 12" subs (now got 4... shame i cant fit all 4 in at once-need a bigger car :-p), PG Bass cube and a RF Symmetry...... Think I should plan to cut down my kit more often lol

Personally I have found the old PG amps are more for the Audiofile, as the sound they help put out is clean and smooth. The older school Rockfords are all about huge power output from a small amp. But still very good.

For me I love them both. But the PG kit would be the 1st choice going into the car...
